Qualcomm just announced the sequel to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and it’s not the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Instead, it’s the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This matches the branding for its laptop chips, but it does continue to make its branding pretty confusing.
